Now that Trump has passed Congress the timebomb of DACA repeal, he is demanding that DACA’s renewal be couched in an immigration agenda “that hard-line conservatives have been pursuing for decades” (New York Times). The demands include building Trump’s wall, stripping the rights of asylum-claimers, restricting which family members residents can bring to America, and turning down unaccompanied children fleeing drug wars. Immigration advocates nationwide have opposed these cruel measures. So will we.

“Hello, my name is [name] from [city, zip], and I’m calling about Trump’s demands for DACA renewal. They are nothing less than a wish-list for anti-immigrant hard-liners, and we cannot give in. Any congressional proposal to protect Dreamers must do so without throwing countless other immigrants under the bus.”
