As usual, we will enter the federal building immediately after the rally for a meeting with Senate staffers. Also as usual (from now through December), we will be gathering signatures for De-Escalate Washington's I-940 ballot initiative for better police training and accountability.

Come enjoy the David Duvall Kanreki benefit concert and make a real difference. Duvall will be performing music from his newly released CDs, and will be joined by some of the Seattle area's finest jazz and rock musicians. Co-sponsored by Seattle Indivisible, proceeds will be split between Jewish Voice for Peace/Network Against Islamophobia and the Organization for Refugee Asylum & Migration. Tickets for this amazing cause are $35, $25 and $10 students.
Action: Submit a comment opposed to drilling in the Arctic
The Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources is considering legislation to open up a sensitive part of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, the "1002 Area" or Coastal Plain, as a way to fund the GOP's massive tax cuts for the rich. Our senator and this committee's ranking member, Maria Cantwell, has been pushing back, but she needs your help -- the entire committee needs to hear this from the public.
