Action: Keep the Dream alive!

Today a coalition of Washington activist groups including Seattle Indivisible delivered a petition to our Senators to vote 'no' on a spending bill that doesn't include a clean DREAM Act. Congress has until Dec. 8 to pass a spending bill, or the government will shut down. This is probably the most leverage our representatives will have to defend Dreamers, but our Senators have still not committed to using it! Today we are asking you to call again to keep up the pressure.

Don’t forget to fill out our call log so that we can track our impact: https://goo.gl/forms/lbHUvI9h58f0dLqx1

Sen. Patty Murray: DC 202-224-2621; Seattle 206-553-5545
Sen. Maria Cantwell: DC 202-224-3441; Seattle 206-220-6400

Sample Script:

“Hello! My name is [NAME] and I’m calling from [ZIP]. I’d like to thank [NAME] for standing up for Dreamers in the past. Please promise to vote against an end-of-year spending bill if there is no agreement on enacting a Clean DREAM Act."
