Today's Action: Save the Paris Climate Accord!

Disturbing reports out of Washington indicate that President Trump is leaning toward totally withdrawing the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement — abandoning U.S. climate and clean energy leadership, making us a pariah on the international stage and threatening our children's future, all to bolster big polluter industry profits.

Call our members of Congress to tell them that you are appalled by this reckless, short-sighted move. Urge them to do all they can to stop the Administration from pulling out of the Paris Accord.

Call: Senator Maria Cantwell:

DC - 202-224-3441

Seattle - 206-220-6400

Call: Senator Patty Murray:

DC - 202-224-2621

Seattle - 206-553-5545

Call: Rep. Pramila Jayapal:

DC - 202-225-3106

Seattle - 206-674-0040

Call: Rep. Adam Smith:

DC - 202-225-8901

Renton - 425-793-5180

Suggested Script:  “My name is [name], and I’m calling from [city, zip]. I am calling to urge [the MOC] do everything possible to oppose US withdrawal from the Paris Climate Accord. Pulling the U.S. out of the agreement is bad for our planet. It's bad for the security of our children. It's bad for our economy. It's bad for national security and our relations with nearly every other country on earth.”

Your Covfefe is Working!

At least 40 members of Congress, including Adam Smith, have signed onto a letter calling for the revocation of Jared Kushner’s security clearance (AKA yesterday’s Seattle Indivisible Daily Action).   http://www.politico.com/story/2017/05/31/kushner-security-clearance-democrats-239001?cid=apn
