What can you do to make the next two years better?

It’s a new month, and we have only 5 days until election day. Imagine the impact that all of our activism could have if Democrats won back the House! Everything we do as citizens can be amplified by people in power, as long as we work hard to elect people who care about us. So, take a deep breath and think about what you can do between now and the election to help liberals win and set the stage for the next two years of resistance – here are some suggestions:

ACTION 1: Phone bank with Seattle Indivisible

You can do this from home! Today Seattle Indivisible has a new and updated list of numbers to call to encourage friendly voters to get their ballots in. Phone banking is easy – you can call from home any day from 3-9 pm. Email daily-action@seattleindivisible.com for a link and further instructions! Make sure to specify that you are interested in phone banking.

ACTION 2: Join us to Text Bank for the 8th District

The 8th district is one of the closest house races in the country – and we live right next door. Seattle Indivisible is asking people to sign up to text bank on Sunday night from 5-8 pm. We need 25 people - if you want to fill one of those slots, email daily-action@seattleindivisible.com for a link and instructions! Make sure to specify that you are interested in text banking.

ACTION 3: Sign up to canvass!
