Official Action for Saturday, November 3
We are still recouping costs from our emergency #NobodyIsAboveTheLaw Rally last night. Anything you can give is appreciated: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/seattleindivisible
This week’s midterms showed us the power of collective action, and now we finally have a good way to push back against the corruption of the Trump administration--a Democrat-controlled House. Not a moment too soon either, as Trump has placed a crony in charge of the Mueller investigation, thus compromising the investigation and precipitating a Constitutional crisis.
House Dems have reportedly met to discuss attaching protections for Mueller to the upcoming spending bill. Since this is a five-alarm crisis, we will continue calling our congresspeople into the weekend, asking them to 1) investigate Matthew Whitaker’s appointment over the Mueller investigation, and 2) support the creation of a spending bill with Mueller protections attached.
Rep. Pramila Jayapal: (202) 225-3106, (206) 674-0040
Rep. Adam Smith: (202) 225-8901, (425) 793-5180
