ACTION: Urge our Attorney General and Senators to act swiftly on the misuse of Americans’ Facebook data.
Last week the New York Times reported that Cambridge Analytica, a political firm working for the Trump campaign, used Americans’ Facebook data to benefit the Trump campaign. Facebook data was “harvested through a personality quiz app and passed along to the political data firm Cambridge Analytica” (from the New York Times).
This is indefensible. We need action NOW to challenge the misuse of Americans’ personal data. We’re asking you to call Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson and our U.S. Senators to demand swift action to investigate and to hold Facebook and Cambridge Analytica accountable.
