Trump's State Department just submitted a rule that would require all visa applicants to release their social media identities for the previous five years when applying for an immigrant or nonimmigrant visa. This is an unnecessary violation of privacy, and likely opens the door to racial profiling of visitors and immigrants.
Submit a comment on these two dockets in opposition to these new questions:

Immigrant visas: https://www.regulations.gov/document?D=DOS-2018-0003-0001
For more information, see a letter that ACLU published last year when the State Department about an "emergency" version of these questions, which are very similar to the versions being submitted now.
Tuesday: Resist Trump Tuesday continues on Tuesday, April 3 at 11:45 a.m. outside the Henry M. Jackson Federal Building, followed by a meeting with our Senators’ Staffers!
Tuesday: Weekly Seattle Indivisible Meeting: April 3rd at 7pm at the Washington State Labor Council (new location!)
The great news is that for anyone who’s been wanting to attend our weekly meetings, but hasn’t been able to make the drive all the way up to Greenwood: from here on, our meetings will be at the Washington State Labor Council in First Hill (321 16th Ave. Seattle 98144).
The bad news is that with all the halfway reasonable adults abandoning Trump like rats off a sinking ship (most notably his lead counsel in the Russia investigation), the only people willing to join his “team” are right wing extremists as bent on war as he. These include NSA chief John Bolton (who still thinks invading Iraq on faulty intel was a good idea), Secretary of State Mike Pompeo (who supports torture), and CIA chief Gina Haspel (who actually tortured and destroyed the evidence).
The good news is that a small group of passionate, committed high school students from Florida have put our chances of retaking control of the House well within reach. Grassroots organizing of youth, women, communities of color, and working class Americans are building a blue wave for the crucial midterm elections this November.
That’s where YOU come in. NOW is the time to join with your neighbors and to help make sure that not only is Trump removed from office (preferably in handcuffs), but that the whole corrupt, racist, misogynistic system that brought him to power and keeps him there is uprooted and dismantled.
As always, our meetings are focused on concrete, specific ACTIONS we can all take NOW to make a difference. This week we will be
1. Calling our senators to urge them to vote NO on confirming Pompeo and Haspel (Bolton does not require Senate confirmation).
2. Writing postcards to get out the vote for Dr. Hiral Tipirneni for the April 24 special election in AZ-8.
3. Getting updates on petition signature gathering for I-1631 for Clean Air and Clean Energy.
Whether you are a seasoned activist or a complete newbie, ALL are welcome to join us as we work together for the democracy we, our children, and grandchildren deserve.
This meeting venue is wheelchair accessible, and can be reached by King County Metro buses 7, 14, 27, and 106, and the First Hill Streetcar.
See you Tuesday.

We are all volunteers at Seattle Indivisible, but a lot of what supports our basic operations, such as meeting spaces, fliers, and website hosting costs money. Please contribute to keep us going strong:
