Be Prepared for Trump to Obstruct Justice

Official Action for Tuesday, April 17

We are still on high alert that Trump could fire Mueller or Rosenstein, compromising the investigation into his dealings with Russia and triggering a constitutional crisis. If this happens, it is essential to the future of American democracy that we are in the street protesting within 24 hours. If you have not already, please sign up to receive details about the rapid response as soon as Mueller or Rosenstein is fired:…/mueller-fi…/search/…

Additionally we're looking for trained peacekeepers to help coordinate the protest. If you are available, please fill out this form and we will contact you if we need to launch the protest:…/1Sh3N_sVex6VcjEdU2OBDstgHmZKyFq5…/

Events Today

Resist Trump Tuesday Rally--March to the Department of Licensing
11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: The Federal Building, 915 Second Ave, Seattle, WA 98104

Today we will march to the Dept. of Licensing offices at 205 Spring Street in solidarity with our allies in the immigrant community who have organized a sign waiving protest outside DOL offices demanding the resignation/firing of DOL Director Pat Kohler.

Weekly Meeting--New, Central Location!
7-9 p.m.: Washington State Labor Council, 321 16th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144

No, you’re not imagining it. This week really does feel like we’re coming up on the season finale of the world’s worst reality tv show.

Other than his own children, there’s no one closer to Trump professionally and personally than Michael Cohen. Not so much his lawyer as his consigliere, Cohen’s office and home were raided by federal agents on Monday, and all his files taken as part of a criminal investigation.

One cannot overstate how bad this is for Trump, and he could fire Rosenstein and/or Mueller any day now.

Come join your neighbors as we process this together and clarify what we will do as a group if and when Trump pulls the trigger. The very future of our democratic republic hangs on how we respond.

This meeting venue is wheelchair-accessible, and can be reached by King County Metro buses 7, 14, 27, and 106, and the First Hill Streetcar.
