Official Daily Action for February 6, 2019
When the government was reopened last month, a special committee of senators and representatives was given the task of negotiating a budget for the rest of the year, by Feb 15. Part of this group, the House-Senate Conference Committee on Homeland Security is working on funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and is setting up votes for next week. Let's make sure they know that we want NO additional funding for Trump's deportation machine: No new money for ICE, Customs and Border Protection, or The Wall.
Ask our MOCs to tell the House-Senate Conference Committee on Homeland Security not to fund the wall, or give any new money to ICE or Customs and Border Protection.

“Hello, I’m [name] from [city, zip]. I'm calling about the House-Senate Conference Committee on Homeland Security that is currently negotiating funding for DHS. I'd like [Senator/Reprentative] to let the committee know that her constituents don't want any new funding for ICE, Customs and Border Protection, or Trump's wall."
