Your Washington State primary ballots are due by this Tuesday, August 6th by 8pm.

They can be returned by mail with no postage required, or to the nearest drop-box. If your ballot has been sitting on the table for a while, now is the time to go fill it in! There are important city and county-level races happening right now that you can have an impact on.

If you have already returned your ballot, your suggested action for today is to remind your friends and family to get theirs in.

The immigration courts are packed, scheduling hearings as far as 2023 because of an overloaded system burdened not only by volume due to current policies, but also due to previous policies by then A.G. Sessions to re-open suspended cold immigration cases and deny new non-decision cases to be suspended or delayed.



Tuesday, Aug. 6, 7:00 p.m. Seattle Indivisible Meeting (1st & 3rd Tuesdays): At the Washington State Labor Council in the Central District, 321 16th Avenue.

This meeting venue is wheelchair accessible and can be reached by King Count Metro buses 7, 14, 27, and 106, and the First Hill Streetcar.


Tues. Aug. 13, 11:45 a.m. 1:30 p.m. Resist Trump Tuesday Rallies (2nd & 4th Tuesdays):

At the Henry M., Jackson Federal Building, 915 2nd Avenue. The outdoor rally is followed by a meeting inside the Federal Building with staffers from our lawmakers offices.
